Superdrug Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser, £5.99 |
I began using the Superdrug Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser after deciding that my usual routine of Simple face wipes simply wasn't cutting it. I have to be really careful about what I put on my skin as it is quite sensitive, however having heard so much about hot cloth cleansers (the Liz Earle one in particular, which is on my wish list for when I have a bit more money to my name!) I decided to give it a go. I read a few positive reviews of the Superdrug cleanser, and at £5.99 I thought it was worth a try!
Having normal to dry, spot prone skin, I am wary about what products I use. I only cleanse in the evening to take my makeup off, and am a firm believer in not bombarding your skin with too many different products! I started to use the Superdrug Hot Cloth Cleanser about 2 months ago, and so far, am extremely impressed. With a creamy consistency, the first thing that struck me was how easy to use, and effective, the cleanser is. A small amount will remove all my makeup, leaving my skin feeling so much cleaner than previously, when I was just using makeup remover wipes. I religiously remove my makeup even after nights out, and the fact that I have managed to continue to do so using this, speaks volumes about how effortless it is.
The Hot Cloth Cleanser has a very sweet, coconutty, smell, which I did initially think would be an issue, as it is most definitely scented, however I'm pleasantly suprised to find it has in fact been very gentle and moisturising on my skin. My skin is certainly clearer when using this, and it's been a daily staple since I purchased it. For £5.99 I really think this is such a bargain - if you're thinking of trying a hot cloth cleanser and can't afford the Liz Earle, I would strongly recommend this! Having said that, I would like to try the Liz Earle, having heard so many positive things about it, to see if it is worth the hype...
