Collection 2000 Lasting Gel Eyeliner, £4.99
I picked this up on a whim, as Superdrug had a 3-for-2 offer on. Having wanted to try gel eyeliner for a while, I was after Maybelline's offering, but this was cheaper and my bank account was feeling a little poorly!
Firstly, I was a little disappointed as the brush is absolutely tiny. However while I do feel that a proper eyeliner brush would obviously do a better job, I've been using the one provided to tide me over and it's done the job fine.
The eyeliner itself goes on really nicely, and I've found it easy to create a smooth line. I wish it was a little blacker, but at £4.99 I really can't complain. The main negative is the staying power - after a few hours of wear, I find myself with attractive black smudging over the eyelid, which is a shame because I love the effect this eyeliner gives for the price. I will continue to use it, and try to improve the staying power - I have used and loved it on nights out, but for everyday wear, it's just not durable enough.
