Hi lovelies! In my
September favourites post, I mentioned a little blush which I hadn't been able to stop wearing. Well, 2 weeks into October and this beaut hasn't left my cheeks! I am of course talking about Sleek's blush in Rose Gold, a gorgeous shimmery peachy-pink. Hailed as a dupe for Nars Orgasm, which I can't personally comment on as I don't own the latter, it really is a stunning blush, being both extremely pigmented and extremely flattering!
The packaging lives up to the Sleek name, being very simple and compact, with a useful little mirror in the lid. It does get dirty quite easily, but that doesn't really bother me to be honest. It is very pigmented so a little goes a long way, and the colour adds such a lovely peachy flush to the cheeks - I use it with my MeMeMe Sunbeam highlighter to get a really glowy effect, and it wakes my face up no end on those mornings when I may not have had as much sleep as I should! There are tiny flecks of glitter running through, so if you aren't a massive fan of shimmery blush, then I have to say that this is no ideal - it's definitely not matte in any way! I'm currently having a love affair with anything remotely sparkly or shimmery, so for me it's perfection.
You can get Sleek blushes from Superdrug, and they retail for £4.49 which I think is extremely good value - I'd happily pay more. I reviewed another of their blushes,
Honour, a while ago, which is also really gorgeous. They have some really lovely things at the moment, and I've been on a mission for a while now to get my hands on the Blush by 3 in Lace - fingers crossed it's back in stock soon!
Hope you're all having a lovely day, I'm going to be doing a lot of catch up work as I've decided to make life difficult for myself and have switched degrees in my second year!
