It's March, the sun is shining and it looks like Spring is well and truly on it's way. To me, this means a whole host of things - ice cream, picnics in the park, bike rides, sunglasses...and spring time makeup! Bright lip crayons, pretty pink blushes, pastel nail polish...just what's needed after a wet and dreary winter, and now that the sun is peeping through the clouds and looking like he's here to stay (for more than a day or two at least!) I thought I would do a little spring time makeup post and take advantage of the gorgeous weather!
I raved about these
Bourjois lip crayons last summer, and they are still a staple in my makeup bag (as you can see the writing has worn off completely, they're very well loved!) They can be subtle or bold depending on how much you apply and are just so incredibly moisturising, which is perfect for post-winter dryness.
On first glance this may look a little scary but don't be put off - it's in fact a pretty, subtle pink blush which will give just a hint of colour and a lovely natural flushed look. Sleek blushes are always winners in my book, for the colour payoff and longevity.

Barry M's gel nail paints are by far my favourite nail polishes of last year, and these shades are ideal for adding a pop of colour. They last for ages and dry super quickly, which is perfect for those of us who forget we've painted our nails 5 seconds later and go to open a tin or put on a pair of socks...
