OK so this photo is actually from a while ago when I was in Brussels and the weather was all blue skies, sunshine and 20+ degrees. Now I'm home in the North and it's significantly colder - the hot water bottle is back in business and I'm spending the days wrapped up in jumpers, hats and scarves! What a difference. I've started reading One Day after everyone raved about it, but I haven't managed to commit to it just yet. It seems like the perfect sunbathing read so I'm putting it to one side for now. Soap & Glory Body Butter is just gorgeous for summer prepping and YSL Rouge Volupte in Lingerie Pink is a firm favourite for the warmer months. I got the cutest hair bands from H&M as well - Febraury and March were definite shopping free zones, due to a complete and utter lack of funds, but I couldn't resist these!
Life in Brussels is busy and varied - it's such an international city, I couldn't see myself speaking any French at all but thankfully I live in an all francophone house so have that to keep me on my toes. Lovely as it is to study in a city where everything is easily available and there's always something to do, coming home to the countryside for a while is the perfect break.
