Benefit is a brand I have loved and lusted after for a while now, however tend to be a little bit outside my budget. I've raved about their They're Real mascara, and loved using the Porefessional when it was included as a sample size with Glamour ages ago - so you can imagine how happy I was when I won a full size tube of the stuff on Twitter a few weeks back!
Anything which promises to minimise the appearance of pores and make your skin look "smoother than smooth" is fine by me, and this does not disappoint. With quite a thick consistency, this comes out looking a bit like foundation. You need the tiniest amount, and simply apply it to wherever you feel you want to minimise your pores/smoothen your skin - this is a wonderful makeup primer, so I imagine applying it all over the face would be a good option! Personally, I use this on my nose and cheeks. The moment you apply this to your skin it almost smooths away into a kind of velvety consistency, and the effect is visible immediately - my skin literally appeared so much smoother and has a more blurred effect to it after popping on a little bit of this! Applying foundation over it is a dream, as it really does provide the perfect base and just adds a certain something. Good preparation never goes amiss, and this is one of those instances where that really is true!
I can see this tube lasting me absolutely ages, so from that point of view it's definitely pretty good value for money. I haven't tried much from Benefit but so far they've never failed to be anything less than amazing and this is no exception.
